Dry, barley, big on malt and oak. Dry pine, fruity. A tad spirity. Sweet spices after a time and a hint of puckering prune from the sherry cask and maple fudge. Barley, slightly herbal, a little fruit, grassy. Big on malt, ground ginger.

Glen Grant Arboralis is a bright, golden single malt Scotch whisky aged in ex-Bourbon and Spanish Sherry oak casks. Arboralis means “light from within the trees” which is in recognition of the casks that are sheltered by the tall trees lining the Victorian Gardens in The Glen Grant Distillery. Balvenie DoubleWood is, to not much surprise, aged in two kinds of oak casks! It was firstly matured in refill American oak casks before it was treated to a finish in first fill European oak Oloroso sherry butts for an additional nine months. The expression was launched in 1993, and has become a somewhat iconic whisky over the years. Even at 12 years old, this rich and complex dram is an excellent example of what the Balvenie distillery can craft.
Myth is a single malt Welsh whisky matured in a range of specially selected ex-bourbon and rejuvenated oak casks. This whisky has a Kosher certificate. Celt is a single malt Welsh whisky finished in ex-peated quarter casks. This whisky has a Kosher certificate.
A 14-year-old limited-edition Balvenie which finished its maturation in casks which had previously held Caribbean rum. Expect vanilla and toffee notes as the rum contributes extra sweetness to the flavours.
