BENROMACH 10YRS
A smart packaging job for this distillery-bottled expression of Benromach 10yo, which has been a big hit since its introduction in late 2009. Well done to G&M for making the standard release strength 43%.

Constructed in 1897 and the seventh of the distilleries Glendullan sits on the bank of the River Dullen amongst the picturesque Convall Hills in the Speyside region of Scotland. Glendullan’s onion-shaped copper stills produce a delicate spirit with a green apple profile. Delicate, light and perfectly balanced, Singleton of Glendullan is aged in a combination of Ex- Bourbon and European Sherry.
A super-premium entry in Glenlivet’s range, this has been finished for a couple of years in Oloroso casks – so an extra depth of flavour and silky sweetness is the order of the day. “The Oloroso Sherry influence meshes beautifully with The Glenlivet’s signature sweet, floral, honey and malt notes, giving a nutty spiciness and quite intensely fruity palate, with raisins to the fore. The finish embraces steadily drying oak. A rich, complex and satisfying after dinner dram.” Gavin D. Smith, Whisky-Pages.com.
Glenlivet is one of those distilleries whose malts just keep improving with age. This superb 21yo is an elegant, intricate, sophisticated malt, presented in a very smart wooden box – just don’t drop it on your foot.
This Penderyn has been matured in bourbon wood before finishing in ex-Madeira casks. Bottled at a slightly lower strength than the standard Penderyn Madeira Wood for even easier drinkability.
Penderyn’s Celt single malt, in a fancy newly designed bottle. This expression from the Welsh distillery is treated to a finish in casks that previously held peated whisky, imparting elegant wisps of smoky peat alongside the creamy vanilla and biscuity barley at its core.
A malt whisky of unmistakable honey-rich maturity and depth.
The exceptionally smooth, clean, and fruity taste of Aultmore can be traced to the Foggie Moss. Our water source filters through bracken, gorse and heather purifying the water to the profit of Aultmore’s refined character. Aultmore 18 Years Old is a classic Speyside whisky, aromatic and fragrant in style. Elegant and uncomplicated, grassy, and herbal – with notes of rosemary and thyme.
Creamy with a long, smooth and mellow finish, our 12 Year Old is the perfect example of Glenfiddich’s unique Speyside style and is widely proclaimed the best dram in the valley. Flowing in the Valley of the Deer since 1887, our family’s signature expression is the world’s most awarded single malt Scotch whisky*.
Speyside whiskies are known to be fruity and floral, but as the bad boy of Speyside, Craigellachie defies with its oil fired, rich character. Craigellachie 17 Year Old is matured in a mixture of ex-bourbon and ex-sherry casks. The bourbon casks bring vanilla, toffee and fudge notes to the fore, and the sherry casks provide richness and complexity.
Balvenie DoubleWood is, to not much surprise, aged in two kinds of oak casks! It was firstly matured in refill American oak casks before it was treated to a finish in first fill European oak Oloroso sherry butts for an additional nine months. The expression was launched in 1993, and has become a somewhat iconic whisky over the years. Even at 12 years old, this rich and complex dram is an excellent example of what the Balvenie distillery can craft.
A companion to the much-loved bourbon-cask-matured Nadurra, the Nadurra Oloroso is a cask-strength Glenlivet that has been solely matured in first-fill oloroso sherry casks. The result is a full-bodied, heavily sherried dram that still shows the elegance that you find at the core of Glenlivet’s spirit.
