A cut above the standard-issue 12yo, Glenlivet 15yo is finished, as the name suggests, in Limousin French Oak (the same kind that is used for many Cognacs). Expect rich notes of fruit, almonds and sweet spice.
Constructed in 1897 and the seventh of the distilleries Glendullan sits on the bank of the River Dullen amongst the picturesque Convall Hills in the Speyside region of Scotland. Glendullan’s onion-shaped copper stills produce a delicate spirit with a green apple profile. Delicate, light and perfectly balanced, Singleton of Glendullan is aged in a combination of Ex- Bourbon and European Sherry.
Speyside whiskies are known to be fruity and floral, but as the bad boy of Speyside, Craigellachie defies with its oil fired, rich character. Craigellachie 17 Year Old is matured in a mixture of ex-bourbon and ex-sherry casks. The bourbon casks bring vanilla, toffee and fudge notes to the fore, and the sherry casks provide richness and complexity.
All the sweet, fruit character of the signature Glenfiddich 12 Year Old, enhanced by a finish in rare Amontillado sherry casks for a distinctively rich and refined depth of flavour with lively notes of dried fruits and a delicately spicy finish.
Glenfiddich Gran Reserve 21-Year-Old single malt Scotch whisky is an exquisite, traditional Speyside whisky aged for 21 years, our innovative rum cask finish adds extra sweet and exotic notes, creating a rich, decadent, and luxurious single malt. Our Reserve Rum Cask Finish is an exquisite, traditional Speyside whisky, rich and ripe, with exotic notes of ginger, fig, lime, and a vibrant spicy toffee warmth. Matured for 21 years in oak barrels and finished in hand-selected Caribbean rum casks for up to four months. Best enjoyed neat, on the rocks, with a splash of water, or with club soda to expand the flavor.
A super-premium entry in Glenlivet’s range, this has been finished for a couple of years in Oloroso casks – so an extra depth of flavour and silky sweetness is the order of the day. “The Oloroso Sherry influence meshes beautifully with The Glenlivet’s signature sweet, floral, honey and malt notes, giving a nutty spiciness and quite intensely fruity palate, with raisins to the fore. The finish embraces steadily drying oak. A rich, complex and satisfying after dinner dram.” Gavin D. Smith, Whisky-Pages.com.
A gorgeous limited edition single malt Scotch whisky with a Japanese twist from the giants of Glenfiddich here. Grand Yozakura 29-Year-Old is finished in Japanese awamori casks!
Awamori is a spirit produced in Okinawa from long-grain indica rice, which, like sake, is initially seeded with koji and fermented with yeasts that have been isolated from all sorts of funky locations, including mangoes, hibiscus, and sakura blossoms. It leads to some amazingly diverse flavour notes, ranging from floral and fruity, to rich and savoury, all of which have been imparted into this remarkable dram.
The bottle is housed in a smart case, adorned with sakura blossom, comes with a bespoke engraved stopper, and is topped with a cloth that carries a poem, all coming together to perfectly capture the moment.
Famously, Glen Grant produce ‘the lightest spirit in Scotland’, and while this is a gentle dram it’s got a richness to its mouthfeel that you might not expect. A great warm-weather sipper.
This Glenfiddich has been aged for three decades in a carefully-balanced blend of oak barrels from either side of the Atlantic. A member of the Re-imagination of Time series, it harks back to the distillery’s ‘tround’-style bottle.
Aberlour is always a good choice – one of the best value Speyside malts around. This double matured version is a mix of traditional oak and sherry casks and is rich and fruity with delicious Christmas cake notes.
A malt whisky of unmistakable honey-rich maturity and depth.
One of the most famous malts in the world. Glenlivet 12yo has a soft smooth balance of sweet summer fruits and the floral notes of spring flowers.
