Inspired by the rugged beauty of the Scottish Highlands, rich in natural ingredients, pioneer whisky maker Adam Teacher founded The Ardmore Distillery in Kenneth Mont in 1898. Despite the remote location and early hardship, perseverance resulted in The Ardmore – a single malt with a lightly peated character. The whiskies’ rich, elegant character comes from our time honoured production techniques, and our Master Blender’s obsession with maturation and finishing in the finest selected wood from America and Jerez.
The 18 year old has always been one of the best of Glenmorangie’s core range and, in common with all Glenmo’s offerings these days, it really looks the part. Picked up the top prize in its category at the World Whisky Awards 2010.
